Trying to become flexible it's tough because it's a huge commitment ! but you can do all you need to do is push yourself
for example doing bridges (just like the picture above) helps your back get use to the feeling of being flexible.
doing splits is something very difficult what you want to do if your a beginner is do whatever side splits you feel comfortable with and feel that you would be advanced in.
first go in a split position and then hold it for 30 seconds or a minute (I suggest a minute) after you are done go/try to go 1inch lower doing this a couple days in a week we'll help you a lot.
