How to Detangle Frizzy/Curly Hair Without Damage!
We all know it's a nightmare trying to comb our treasured tresses! Follow these quick steps to prevent damage....!!!!
Firstly, GENTLY separate the end of your hair The tangles formed are due to the curly strands of hair entwined together. Gently separating the knots with our fingers allows us to be more delicate and intricate than a comb will be.
Plastic or Wooden? Quite frankly, so longs you're combing your hair correctly it's irrelevant. I comb my hair everyday with a plastic wide toothed comb and I get NO shedding/snagging. It's all about HOW you comb your hair that makes the difference.
Start by taking a wide toothed comb and GENTLY start to comb the ends of your hair. Please take your time as rushing will cause potential damage. Patience is a virtue young grasshopper!! 🎋🎐🎐🎐
Slowly work your way up along the hair shaft making sure you keep one hand holding the hair above from your lower hand that you are combing with. P.s I couldn't find a curly chica for this pic but it's the same principle anyway 😁
Once you have worked your way up, you should be able to move your comb back downwards without any tangles. However , if you do still find any nags or tangles, just repeat and baby the end of the tangle. NEVER rip through the tangle as this WILL break your hair! 🙅
Girl we made it! Well it's pretty basic stuff right?! But you would be amazed at how all these steps go right out the window when we are in a rush!!! Just remember, we have to BABY our hair as it is extremely delicate! P.s DO NOT comb when wet!!!! BUT make sure your hair has a little moisture before
