How To Treat And Prevent Sun Blistered LipsHere's the treatment:
Once you have a sun blister, you're going to want to ice it and take some pain reliever. Ice it maybe 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes
If your blister is big, there's chance it will pop on its own. If it's small, you main drain it. To drain the blister you'll need a sterile needle. Gently stick the blister, making a very small hole. After doing so, gently pull out the needle, avoid pulling the needle up and out.
Apply either aloe or Vaseline through out the day and try to keep the area clean from any germs. How to prevent:
I take a vitamin called Lysine. Lysine is a basic amino acid that is a constituent of most proteins. This gives your lips extra protection and proteins it needs to fight off any damage that could be done.
You can find lysine at any drug store, and it can be taken daily or it can be taken a few hours before you know you'll be in the sun.
Also, lip balm with spf 30 is another key thing you should be using while in the sun, apply every 15-30 minutes and you will be protected for the day!
