How To Study For An AP Test
•Make sure to start studying for you AP Test AT LEAST 4-5 days before the test. Do not start later as it then leads to cramming and stress.
•Meet up with friends for a small studying group an hour a day. This will help if you have questions or things you want to discuss about.
•REST THE DAY BEFORE THE AP TEST!! I can not stress how important this is. This will help you so much during the test; you will feel much more relaxed and calm which will help you remember things so much easier and faster. Play some music or just watch tv to release some tensions before the test.
•Ask teachers for additional help for the test. Most of the time, teachers have a general idea of what's on the test and so they will help you on the right path.
•Even if you usually study with music, I suggest that when you are studying for the AP Test, that you don't have any noises or disturbances around. This will help you remember things faster and you will be able to recall the information faster during the actual test.
•Try to review all informations you have learned over the course of the year so you don't try to study last minute before the test. On the day of the test, don't try to
cram additional information. You will get anxious and scared and this will cause you to forget more information.
The hardest part about taking the test is to remember everything that you have learned as the test is just a summary of what you have learned all year. Because of this, it is essential that you do not stress out during and before the test.
