How To Store Spaghetti Properly

posted in Food & Drink
  • Always store spaghetti separately from the sauce.

Yes it's easier to store together, but the noodles will soak up the water in the sauce making the noodles soggy and the sauce dry.

  • When reheating to eat another day- add about a tablespoon of water (and a teaspoon of butter too if you like) to a single serving of noodles. Cook the spaghetti noodles first until lukewarm. Check every 30 seconds. Then add the sauce and mix together before cooking to desired temp. DO NOT OVERHEAT.

  • Be sure to stir to reheat evenly. If the noodles are too dry, add up to another tablespoon of water after the first 30 seconds. STIR to coat all the noodles.

  • Enjoy!
