How To Shave with Coconut Oil
Skin & Body
We all know the pains of shaving-
razor burns, rashes, cuts, more razor burns.
Here is an alternative to shaving cream!
(I tried it and it works SOO much better)
It left my skin smooth and i didn't get any razor burns and my bumps are starting to heal now! yay haha ~
enjoy my friends-
I actually tried it with the melted coconut oil because 1) the summer heat made it melt and i was too lazy to cool it and 2) i thought it would be easier to shave with since the clumps of coconut oil wouldn't get stuck in my shaver as easily as the hardened coconut oil would. (up to you c:)
Get a small container and fill it with the coconut oil. (you will need to keep it in the shower with you)
Remove most of the water from your legs with a slightly damp washcloth. (don't crazily rub your legs- dab :) )
Make sure to turn off the water before you shave or it will be a waste of water - your could even step out of the shower if you want to
Coat and apply a teaspoon of coconut oil per leg (when i do it, i kind of get what i can grab and slap it on my leg 😅 but i use the melted oil so not much can get in my hand)
ahhh the best part- shave
*make sure to rinse your razor frequently, for the oil will clog up the razor*
when you are done, rinse your legs or whatever else you are shaving (if you don't like the oily feeling after shaving, you can just clean your legs with baby soap to get the oily feel out and put on some lotion after. if you don't, that's great too)
