How To Make The 'Wrong' Lipstick Look So Right!
Too dark: Dab a peachy-nude in the center of your lips and blend the edges with your fingertips to mix the colours. If your concealer is peach-hued, you can use that, too! Or you can use shimmery gloss. The shimmer in the gloss will reflect the light, making the color overall appear lighter!
Too light: apply a sheer, reddish brown over the top to deepen the color ever so slightly. Work in thin layers so You can keep adding until the shade created has enough life.
Too cold: apply an orange hue to balance out the coolness and harmonize with your skin tone.
Too warm: top it off with a cool pink gloss. If it's still to warm, dab a white pigment on.
Too sheer: if you're going for bold lips and your lipstick would require too many layers to achieve the look, try this. Shade your lips in the same colour lip liner first.
