How To Make Scotch Pancakes In Minutes

  • Ingredients:
    50g - caster sugar
    100g - plain or self raising flour
    1 egg
    A splash of milk
    (Makes 6 roughy)

    Add all of these ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until there are no lumps. (If you need more milk then add - however, the mixture is meant to be a smooth thick texture)
    Add oil to the frying pan so it is easier to cook the pancakes.
    Pour in a small amount of mixture at a time, in a circle shape if possible.
    Flip the pancake when small bubbles start to form on top. This will usually happen quite quickly.

    The pancake should be a golden brown colour.
    Serve and add any topping
