How To Make Homemade Caramel Sauce
Food & Drink
You will need
Medium to large sauce pan
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk or cream
1 cup Brown sugar
Dash of salt and
1/2 tsp Vanilla
Add all ingredients to sauce pan and Stir stir
Stir until mixture is boiling. Boil to 215–225° or 5-7 minutes.
Mixture will be thin until it cools. Don't cook to long or you'll end up with actual caramels (which are also delish!)
Let cool completely and if mix is too thick, add warm milk and stir your heart out until you get your desired thickness.
Pour into mason jar or squeeze bottle and drench everything in sight!
