  • First, to make it the easiest way, you can optionally buy a sponge mix (i know, i said a SPONGE MIX For a cookie recipe!) or make it yourself but that includes weighing flour and sugar and uuughhh!

  • Next, add about 250g of any butter you like, (margarine, welsh butter, english butter etc) i used 3/4 margarine and 1/4 of welsh butter.
Make sure the butter is room temperature and mix it together so its like a paste, then add the sponge mix and mix ALOT!!

  • Next, i felt the butter and mix wasn't sticky enough so i added a lightly beaten egg! Make sure to mix these in VERY WELL!!

  • I then felt it was too sticky, so i added about 2-4 teaspoons of granulated sugar. You can also use caster sugar or even half light brown sugar and half granulated or caster sugar.

  • I mixed well with the spoon and my hands, and then added about 5-7 tablespoons of plain flour. Knead this with your hands for about 2-3 minutes, at first it will be floury and sticky but keep mixing untill theres no more flour and its all formed a ball. If you feel you need too, you can add more.

  • Once your dough is formed It will be not sticky and you will be able to pick it up and roll it.
you can either refrigerate it straight then in 30-60 minutes roll it out into whatever shapes you like and cook it on a baking tray, keep checking every 10-15 minutes gas mark 4 untill their golden brown

  • Or... You can add some chocolate chips, or reeces pieces or anything (i don't advise adding hairbo, sweeties, chewy sweets, candy sweets) i mostly mean chocolate sweets, or Nutella, nuts, raisins, peanut butter, crushed oreo, kitkat, oat, granola, anything like that.
then cook exactly the same way.
    Or... You can add some chocolate chips, or reeces pieces or anything (i don't advise adding hairbo, sweeties, chewy sweets, candy sweets) i mostly mean chocolate sweets, or Nutella, nuts, raisins, peanut butter, crushed oreo, kitkat, oat, granola, anything like that.

  • After  you keep checking, and their now golden brown, take them out of the oven and wait for them to cool. After they have cooled eat and ENJOYY!!
