Start off by applying your primer and foundation (if you wear it).
-
Now apply a concealer, about 2 shades lighter than your skin, under the eyes like so.
-
Add some powder to lock it in, and move onto the next step.
-
Now apply blush. Use a soft, natural color. If you aren't sure what suits your skin tone, use the chart above. Blush is going to give you a healthy glow on the cheeks, which will make you look more awake.
-
So at this time you should use bronzer, highlight, and any eyeshadow you use (this is optional if you don't wear these products).
-
Now before mascara or eyeliner, apply a light, shimmery eyeshadow to the inner corners of the eyes. This will open up the eyes and brighten them.
-
Finish off your eyes by doing your eyebrows, mascara, and eyeliner. Tip: If you wear eyeliner, do a thin line, nothing bold. Eyeliner tends to close the eyes and make them look smaller.
-
Now use a light wash of lip color. Using this guide, find a color that works well for you and apply this to the lips using a lipstick, lip tint, etc. Lip color makes you look much more put together, which will distract from the fact that you're tired.
