How To Know If You Have Properly Picked A Zit!!!! And It Won't Come Back

  • Here's the deal. We either under pop and they come back, or we overdo it and leave a scar. My Aesthetician told me this and it really does work!
1- don't pop unless it's got a white head or are sure it's ready
2- use a warm compress lightly before to loosen it up
3- start from outside the diameter of the pimple and work your way towards the center
4-have your fingertips wrapped In tissue so your fingernails don't damage the skin
LAST- this is it! When the infection starts to come out- press past ALL the fluid and pus, AND blood- then you will see the actual root come out. Don't stop at blood

  • Seems crazy but I think we all stop after a little fluid and we see blood. But it actually is after we push past that when we get to the real infection. Then we can avoid popping more than once. The next day a pimple should be tender. don't confuse this for pain associated with it needing to be expressed a second time
