How To Grow Your Hair Long And Healthy<3

  • WARNING: This is my first ever tip so please prepare for possible unorganization, bad grammar/wording and non-professionalism!

  • 1. A first way to help your hair stay healthy while still grow it long is to use less conditioner. I personally over the past 2 months have been using much less conditioner while washing my hair and it has grown at least 2 inches over the past months. I only condition once a week out of the 5 times I shower in a week. The only time I condition more often is when I use a deep condition treatment to help keep my hair from being damaged.

  • 2. A second way is to deep condition. Like I said in the first point, I use a deep condition treament once a week to help keep my hair shining, refreshed and to cause less frizz especially with my type of hair. Deep conditioning treatment also helps control the amount of damage towards your hair.

  • 3. Thirdly, apply the least amount of heat to your hair as possible. Straighteners, curling irons/wands, crimpers etc. should be used to the least extent as possible. The amount of heat these hairstyling items use creates a large stream of heat that causes hair to become dry, frizzy and extremely damaged.

  • 4. If you are someone like me that enjoys straightening or curling your hair more than you should I recommend using a hair protectant. When using extreme heat producing styling items you should always use a protectant to help protect your hair from the strong amount of heat. The protectant can help cure damaged hair, dryness, and frizziness.

  • 5. A fifth way to grow your hair long and healthy is to limit the amount of times you brush your hair while its wet. When you have wet hair from a shower or swimming etc you should keep your hair the way it is instead of brushing. If you brush your hair while its wet it causes your hair to stretch. When your hair is stretched and once it dries your hair becomes brittle and loose making your hair fall out more.

  • 6. After getting out of the shower while your hair is still wet you should apply some kind of oil. Some products to make your hair healthy and improve your hair length would be either morrocan oil, coconut oil, argon oil etc. Any oil found in your local drugstore can improve he results of your hair length while keeping it healthy preventing dry, brittle and frizzy hair.
