How To Grow Long, Healthy Hair 💋✌🏻️
✨ Drink More Water ✨ Get at least 8 cups of water everyday. Not only does it keep your hair healthy and hydrated, it also helps with dry skin and chapped lips.
✨ Trim As Needed ✨ Only cut or trim your hair when you think it needs it. There is not rule that says when you have to trim it. When you notice the ends looking split, try a remedy first. If that doesn't help, then go ahead and trim them away.
✨ Use Hair Masks Religiously ✨ Hair masks can help prevent split ends, reduce frizz and induce shine. Use a hair mask at least once or twice a week.
✨ Reduce The Hear ✨ Don't use heat products. They burn the hair follicle and cause also cause damage. Air dry whenever possible, or learn "No-Heat Hairstyles" to prevent damage and stunt hair growth.
✨ Use Protection ✨ If you can't stay away from the heat, protect yourself from the burn. But a heat protectant, whether it be a spray or cream, use it whenever you come in contact with heat. Even if it's just a hot summer day, protect those locks.
✨ No Chemicals ✨ Find a cool shampoo with no sulfates or any other chemicals. My personal favorite is Garnier Ultimate Blends. They have a whole line of sulfate and paraben free shampoos and conditioners. Just find one that works for you and replace your old line.
✨ Avoid Harsh Dyes ✨ Try to avoid hair coloring, stripping or bleaching. There is no "safe" way to do this. If you're looking for change, try a wig or extensions instead.
✨ Hold Those Ends Together ✨ A VERY small amount a Vaseline can help keep your split ends together and looking healthier. Just take a SMALL amount and run it through ONLY the ends. Then comb it through the ends to distribute evenly.
✨ Keep It Loose ✨ Whenever you need to pull your hair up, just be sure to keep it loose. No right ponytails buns, or braids.
✨ Comb Not Brush ✨ Pick a comb that will work best with your hair and use that instead of a brush. For example, fine hair might need a tighter toothed comb, and thick or curly hair will need a wide tooth comb.
