How To Get Perfect Winged Eyeliner

posted in Beauty > Makeup
  • You'll need:
    - A dark eyeshadow (brown, black or navy blue work best)
    - Angled eyeliner brush
    - Water

  • Step One: Take the angled eyeshadow brush and dampen it just a bit, shaking off the excess water.

  • Step Two: Dip the brush into the eyeshadow. Tap or wipe off the excess on the back of your hand.

  • Step Three: with the longest part of your brush facing your temple, place the brush on the outer corner of your eye just above your lashline and slightly angled up to the edge of your eyebrow. This will be the template for your wing and envision it as a "flick" motion.

  • Step Four: Just underneath the wing. You created, use the brush to create a thicker wing going from the outermost of the wing in towards your eye, meeting your lower lashline. When you're done it should look like you have a tiny little triangle on the outside of your eye.

  • If necessary, get a bit more eyeshadow on your brush and fill in your wing. Once it's solid, extend the line along the upper lashline to the inner corner of your eye. Viola!
