  • ROSE QUARTZ HAIR...
    ROSE QUARTZ HAIR...
  • You really need to start with practically WHITE hair for a really pale rose quartz colour - at very least platinum blonde. You can dye over a SLIGHTLY darker blonde but it may become orangey as it washes out.. So if you need to bleach your hair, do that before.. (I have a tip on bleaching if you're not sure).

  • Either buy a pastel pink dye or make your own.. To make your own you'll need a pink dye to mix with white conditioner. The conditioner dilutes it to make it more pastel. When you've mixed to what looks like the right colour, test it on a few strands of your hair, leave for a few minutes then rinse. Adjust the dye if necessary or if not just continue to the next step. At this point (for bought or homemade dye) apply to head, leave on for said time and rinse.

  • SERENITY HAIR...
    SERENITY HAIR...
  • Dying your hair this colour is almost the same process as the first - you want to be starting with a really light blonde. If your hair has any yellow or brassy tones in it, I suggest a bleach bath first as dying blue over these will leave you with green hair.

Again, you can buy a dye or make your own. If making your own, diluting a turquoise dye will probably work best.

Application is exactly the same as the Rose Quartz colour.

  • MAKING THE COLOUR LAST...
Pastel shades are so gorgeous, but unfortunately are notorious for lasting no time. Here's some tips on making the colour last as long as possible:

  • - Only wash your hair when you really need to

    - Colour protect products are an absolute must!

    - Try to minimize heat

    - Add a small amount of dye to your conditioner and rinse with this weekly

    - Don't use brands that are known to help strip colour, eg. Head & Shoulders
