  • Set your alarm for 15 minutes before you have to get up. This will give you time to stretch, lay their slowly waking up, play on your phone, watch a little tv. Just get yourself together before you have to move

  • When you do get up, splash some cold water on your face. This will really wake you up, and have your skin feeling fresh. If you want to wash your face, go right ahead. That will help more

  • Get something to drink right away, water will fill you up for now. don't always go for food because then you'll be mindlessly eating

  • Make sure you have enough time, to take your time getting ready. If you're rushing then you need to start waking up earlier. I don't have to leave my house till 6:40 but I start to wake up anywhere between 5-5:30. If I wake up at 5 things are just better and less rushed. Honestly it depends how I'm doing my hair that day on when I'm getting up

  • If you have kids or younger siblings to take care of in the morning, get as much done for them as possible the night before. Get their lunches packed, their clothes laid out for them. Breakfast already cooked and in the fridge. Just little things that will go a long way. Get them up earlier too if they fight you on getting out of bed!
