How To Do Newspaper Nails

posted in Beauty > Nails
  • What you'll need:
    White nail polish
    Clear nail polish
    Rubbing alcohol

    Touch ups:
    Nail polish remover

  • Paint your nails with your white nail polish and wait it to dry completely. If you don't have white you can also use a light color of your choice.

  • Put a small amount of rubbing alcohol into the cap or a small container. You just need enough to dip your nail in. Dip your nails in the rubbing alcohol for about 5 seconds. If you dip them in too long the rubbing alcohol might start to rub off your white nail polish.

  • Place a piece of newspaper on your nail, just big enough to cover your entire nail and drip a little bit of rubbing alcohol on top the newspaper. This ensures the letters will stick to your nails. Let it sit for a couple seconds and peel it off.

  • The letters will appear on your nail. Use the clear nail polish to protect the ink. Without this the ink will rub off.

  • If you need to use nail polish remover to fix up any nail polish that may have gotten on your skin with a q-tip.
