How To Curl Your Hair With A Straightener

posted in Beauty > Hair
  • Divide hair into desired sections. This could be done in layers or however one feels comfortable doing.

  • Add a heat protectant to prevent burning or excessive heat.
Choose hair strands at any desired thickness. (Personally, 1" is a perfect thickness, and works on both thin and thick hair).

  • Start 1/4 of the hair strand and rotate the straightener outwards/inwards. Slowly pull down for tight curls or pull down at moderate speed for loose curls/almost waves.

  • Continue doing this, avoiding any contact with curls already done.
When doing the front hair which frame the face, start 2/4 of the hair strands and curl away from the face, giving the illusion of wind.

  • Once curls are cool, use fingers to create volume by gently combing through the curls.
Finish with hairspray and Argan oil for shine and smoothness.
