How To Cover Acne Like A Pro! Check This Out! Super Helpful!!
Acne. The word nobody is fond of. We have all delt with the nasty red spots that show up all over your face during teenage years. The most annoying thing on planet!
Besides boring commercials, haha!
As I was saying,
The gross dots that appear when we want them the least. Trying to use at home recipes for acne, multiple face washes to get rid of them, but sometimes you have to wait it out!! So you slap on some makeup all Willy Nilly, and your on your way. Meanwhile while your out, you check your makeup and those little spots pop up through your makeup!
But not to worry!! I am very skilled in the art and makeup area!! I have devoted my work to finding the best concealing products, moisturizers, foundations, and powders. And I have done it! Years of experimenting with different drug store, and well know branded makeups!
And I have come up with a series of both types of makeup to mask those unwanted guests on your face.
First your going to want to start off with a clean face. Using a deep face cleanser is a great way to begin. I like to use Noxema, you can find it at Walmart or Target! Rise face with cold water after cleanser to close pores. And pat face dry! Next page---👉
Make sure to use moisturizer after washing! I like to use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotions. Works great and is nice and cool on skin. Next page---👉
Apply some BB cream. I like L'oréal's BB cream because it acts as a primer and concealer cream! Next page---👉
Next your going to take some green concealer! I found this at Walmart from the brand Covergirl, but beware.. I had to dig around a while to find this. It may be hidden! Next page---👉
Just apply the green concealer stick to the red areas. Make sure you pat it in with a makeup sponge quickly, but carefully. Because, it's a liquid it will dry faster to your skin, and be harder to spread. And the reason this works is because green is the opposite color of red. Tones down redness.
Sorry, I ran out of room to say "Next page---👉"
On my last page haha! You guys know what to do though :)
Once you apply your green concealer, go over the same spots with a skin tone concealer. I like to use a liquid skin tone concealer, because the more dry products you out on, it will start to cake up on your face. We don't want that!! Next page---👉
Just apply it like so. Make sure to pat this in, as well.
If it's not concealed enough, or there is some small red parts showing, I like to go over it with a darker concealer. I'm sorry, I don't remember what brand this is. I got it at Walmart and that's all I remember :/ Next page---👉
Now it's time for the foundation! The best one that I have used is Clinique's Even Better foundations. It's a nice liquid that smooths out skin while apply. Personally I hate using foundation brushes. It's not a right or wrong thing, but I just prefer to use makeup sponges. Next page---👉
Also, while applying foundation make sure you pat it in and not rub across your face.
And if your using a foundation brush make sure you apply it in small amounts, and move your brush in a circular motion instead of sweeping it across your face.
I've tried different setting powders, but I experimented with baby powder as a translucent powered, and it's amazing!! It's not as heavy as a regular powder. Plus it's hypoallergenic!! I use the off brand because it came in this huge container! So cool!! Next page---👉
I like to pour the baby powder in my hand and then use a Kabuki Brush (sorry if I misspelled it) to apply it to my face. I've found a hint to make your face say matte throughout the day! Next page---👉
How to keep your face oil free during the day:
Instead of swiping your brush over your face with the powder on it, try dabbing your brush into the powder and pressing it on your face.
Press in into your face real quick in small sections.
Just make sure your pat it all in evenly.
And there you have it!! Perfectly concealed acne ;) Also, feel free to apply some neutral or light pink blush. And don't forget a little color on the lips :) Just to give you face a little color, so it doesn't look all one shade. Make areas of your face really pop!! Next page---👉
Okay! If you made it to my last page, then thanks for reading!!
