How To Avoid Temptation To Eat Unhealthy Food

Ok so you know it's bad for you, but there comes many times for all of us that you jut can't resist the temptation to eat 3 slices of that gorgeous, delicious looking, warm, gooey 4 layer cake. You know the consequences, but still continue to engulf it. It happens to the best of us. So here are some things to think about and say to yourself before you do what you know you'll later regret.
1️⃣ Drink a glass of water before you make the decision to eat. A lot of times, we mistake being thirsty for being hungry.
2️⃣ Wait at least ten minutes before deciding what to eat.
3️⃣ Ask yourself a few things:
🔸If I were to show this to a health coach or even a crush, would they be proud or would I be embarrassed?
🔸Are there more benefits other than the taste?
🔸Is it necessary that I eat this?
🔸Do I want a sick stomach?
4️⃣ Tell yourself:
🔸This is stupid
🔸I don't need it
🔸That dessert isn't good enough anyway
🔸 The taste of this won't matter in 5 minutes
5️⃣ Go on a little walk or do some jumping jacks, something to get your heart rate up.
6️⃣ If you do end up eating it, take it slow. Don't choke it down, you will only feel worse.
