  • Prepare your hair:

You should only curl hair when it's totally dry, so make sure its not damp.

Add heat protectant or mousse to keep hair glossy and to not fry it! Nobody wants damaged hair!

Add a curl enhance product or a root lift spray for additional volume

  • Section your hair:

Tie or clip 2/3 of your hair on top of your head so it's out of the way for now

Remove tangles on the remaining hair to help it curl easier

Take 1" sections of your hair and wrap it around your curler. Start in the middle of the strand. Hold it for 5-10 seconds and release. Repeat this process for the whole remaining layer of hair.

It is optional to hairspray each curl afterwards, but is highly recommended for thick heavy hair

  • Repeat process:

Take 1/2 of the tied up hair and brush it thoroughly. Be careful not to brush out the curls on the other section.

Repeat the before process on your new layer of hair.

Once you have done, take the last section and repeat the process one more time.

  • Setting the temperature:

Get your blow dryer and turn the settings to "cool" and blast your hair to put the temperature of your hair back to normal.

  • Finishing off:

Flip your head upside down and mist your hair with hairspray. Now adjust your hair to the way you want, part it and you are done!
