  • Ingredients:

    1 Devil's Food Cake Mix
    1 5.9 oz. box of instant chocolate pudding
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1/2 cup water
    4 eggs
    1 tbsp vanilla

  • Instructions:

    1- Combine the above ingredients and mix until smooth. The batter will be fairly thick.
    2- Spoon into 24 paper lined muffin tins.
    3- Bake for 18-22 mins at 350 degrees F.

  • Topping:

    Frost with butter cream frosting:

    3 sticks of softened butter
    4-6 cups powdered sugar
    About 1/3 cup of milk

    Pipe the frosting on to your cupcake generously;

    Drizzle with hot fudge, recipe on the next page, but you can also just buy pre-made hot fudge.

    Sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles and top with whipped cream and cherry. (Don't top with the whipped cream until you are ready to serve, or put them straight jn the fridge)

  • Homemade hot fudge recipe:

    Ingredients:

    1 can evaporated milk
    2 cups sugar
    3 (1 oz.) squares of unsweetened chocolate (or sub. 9 tbsp of cocoa and 3 tbsp of vegetable oil stirred together)
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp vanilla

  • Instructions:

    1- Melt the chocolate in a large, heavy pan on low heat.
    2- Stir in the sugar and the milk
    3- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly for about 20 mins. It will start to boil around the 7-8 min mark.
    4- Keep cooking until it is the thickness you want (remembering that it will be thicker when it hits the cold ice cream).
    5- Add the vanilla and stick of butter/margarine.
    6- Serve over ice cream.
    7- It freezes well too so you can just eat it later.
