Homemade Garlic Bread

Ingredients for the dough:
1 cup of warm water
2 1/4 teaspoons of dry yeast
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
3 cups of flour
Ingredients for the cheesy garlic sauce:
2 tablespoon of softened butter
Garlic powder (however much you want)
Mozzarella cheese (however much you want)
Cheddar cheese (however much you want)
In a large bowl, stir yeast and sugar into warm water. Sit for 10 minutes or until yeast is bubbling or starting to foam. Stir in salt, oil, and 1 1/2 cups of flour. Once the flour is mixed in, slowly add flour but by but until the dough is at the consistency you want: tacky, but it doesn't stick to your hands when you touch it. Once it's dough-like, knead for six minutes. The dough should be easy to work with. Lightly grease the bowl and the dough so that it doesn't stick, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 500 degrees with a pizza stone inside. Mix butter and garlic powder into a small bowl. Spread the pizza dough out onto the pizza stone (be careful!! It's hot!!). Using a marinating brush, spread the butter and garlic mixture onto the dough, and sprinkle with cheese. Top with salt and pepper (optional), and bake until cheese is melted and dough is hard, but still a little soft.
