These cinnamon rolls are a lot less work than making the original ones but taste just as good if not the exact same. I really enjoy these as a breakfast treat and make them all the time for my family. It's quick and easy and your mouth will fall in love with them!
Easy way to make homemade cinnamon rolls using canned biscuits.
• tube of butter-me-not biscuits (store brand is just as good)
•1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1.5 tbsp cinnamon
• 3 tbsp butter
•1/2 cup confectioner sugar
•1-2 tbsp milk
•3 drop vanilla extract
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside. Melt butter in a separate bowl and also set aside. Open biscuit can and roll each into a long strip. Slather melted butter on each strip. Then sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture on each. Roll them, stand them up and press down gently. --->
Put made rolls in a greased pan. Slather rest of butter (if need more just melt more) on top of rolls. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Put in oven at 350 degrees until rolls are slightly golden brown. Be careful not to burn. They will cook easier if they are not touching.
Homemade glaze: combine both confectioner sugar and milk in a bowl. Add about 3 drops of vanilla extract depending on how much vanilla flavor you like. Once combined set aside until rolls are done baking. Once out of the oven pour glaze over rolls and enjoy! They taste amazing!!
