First you choose your piece of meat :) any kind you want!! You want to take off the most fat that you can..
Slice it about 1/4 inch each ; make sure that they're not too thick. You could also make little cubes! The thicker they are, longer. is the drying time.
Mix up your seasoning with 1/4 cup of water and marinate the meat for at least an hour or two for more flavor leave it all night. I'ce use this brand cause it came with my desydrator but you can also make tons of variety with what you want!
Next, we just put all the meat on the little racks. I make sure to let space between each piece so it can dry evenly.
Now the waiting start. Let your jerky dry for about 2-6 hours (this batch took about 2:45 hours) after each hour flip them.
You know they're ready when you get this leather look on them; with a burgindy/dark brown. If you bend them in two and dont break your done!!
Its now time to enjoy each bitess!!
