Hide That Fact That You Were Crying🙊

  • I'm definitely a cryer. I don't cry when I'm hurt, I don't cry because I'm sad unless I'm reaallllly sad. I cry when I'm in an argument with someone, when I think about how much I hate my life, or when I get really mad. For whatever reason you're crying, here are some tips to help.

  • If you feel the tears coming on, you can do a few things to stop it:
    -look into a bright light until you feel like your okay
    -put cold air on your face
    -Take deep breath's
    -listen to music and sing along to take your mind off of it

  • If you try these but the tears don't go back to where they came from, do this:
    -walk, don't run or you'll give it away, to the closest bathroom
    -place a paper towel or toilet paper on your water line and just let the tears soak up into it
    -take deep breaths through your mouth while your crying to prevent splotchiness and to keep your voice even

  • Once all the tears are gone, don't think about what you were crying about or you WILL START CRYING AGAIN. I can promise you that. Now it's time for operation post-cry cleanup. Do these things:
    -blow your nose
    -put cold air on your face if you can
    -run your fingers under cold water and lightly dab them where there is redness and puffiness
    -lightly pat dry but be careful because if you pat too hard it will get redder
    -run cold water over your wrists for a few seconds
    -Take a few deep breath's
    -look up and keep your eyes wide
    -blow your nose again

  • Now you have to fix your makeup. I've done different things, but I've found that doing this always hides the fact that I was crying the best:
    -put white eyeliner on your water line because it makes your eyes seem more open so it doesn't look like they're all puffy
    -put on more top and bottom mascara to open up the eye even more
    -put powder under your eye and on your nose but only a thin layer or it will look like you tried to cover something up because you will still be able to see some redness

  • If you can stay in the bathroom and let your face look more normal, do that, but if you have to go out, uses these tips to help hide the fact that you were crying:
    -before you walk out of the bathroom, pretend to sneeze really loudly so if anyone I outside, it just looks like you have allergies
    -sneeze again when you go near people so they think you have allergies too
