Help for Damaged Hair
That clump of hair in the previous slide is mine from a few weeks ago. I had overprocessed my hair, and it had given up on me. I was pulling out chunks of hair, and it wouldn't stop coming out. I thought for sure I was going to go bald. So I rushed to my nearest Sally Beauty Supply and got some help. Here's what they recommended:
For extemely damaged hair like mine, get the Two-Step Protein Treatment and Balancing Moisterizer(they sell it in packettes if you don't want the bottles). First, cleanse your hair with the Shampoo for Damaged Hair. After rinsing out the shampoo, completely saturate the hair with the Protein Treatment. Once the hair is saturated, blow-dry it until it becomes hard and dry. Make sure to not touch/brush your hair, as it will break off with the treatment in there. Rinse it out then towel dry it and add in the Moisturizer for 2 minutes. After that, hop back in the shower and rinse thoroughly.
After you're done with your shower business, towel dry your hair and add a spritz of the Keratin & Green Tea Reconstructurizer along with any other hair products you use. Then you may style as usual.
Every week, I use the Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructor. Simply shampoo your hair with the Shampoo for damaged hair, rinse, and put on the recontructor(I like to comb it through my hair with a wide-tooth comb to make sure I distribute it evenly). Leave it on for 2 minutes then rinse it out.
They also have a line called "Curlific!" for naturally curly/kinky hair
