Pan seared salmon with a light brown sugar and bourbon glaze over a bed of baby spinach with garlic peppered blackened asparagus <3 most delicious and fulfilling dinner I have had in a while.
*For 2 servings*
Heat your pan up on medium. Melt 2 1/2 tbls of low sodium butter in a pan. Once melted add one minced garlic clove and let brown. Add in your 20 pieces (or more) of asparagus. Allow to simmer for 4 mins and add fresh ground pepper. Allow to cook until the asparagus is blackened.
Put a pan on medium heat and melt 2 1/2 tablespoons of low sodium butter once melted add 1/4 of light brown sugar once mixed add your salmon steaks. Allow to sit for about 5-6 mins then flip to the other side and add 1/8 cup of jack Daniels whiskey. Allow to sit for 5 mins (or until fish is flaky)
Put at bed of baby spinach down put the salmon on top and drizzle remaining sauce over the salmon and spinach. Put your 10 pieces of asparagus on the side and enjoy! Weighing in at a total of 369 calories (depending on your size salmon) if you enjoy please like and friend or follow! Thanks 😘
