  • Okay there may be a couple of different reasons why you get really dry skin on your face but if you've tried other moisturise and face treatments to get rid of it and they dont work, it could be due to your water. May be a surprise but tap water can be very harsh it contains a lot of chlorine.

  • This may not be the cheapest alternative but instead of washing your face with harsh tap water full of decontaminating chemicals, try the Avène thermal water or Lush Tea Tree Water.

  • these are natural spring water which is soothing and anti-irritating and only contains minerals but Tea tree is an antibacterial, antiseptic and anti microbial, in other words it gets rid of all the nasties on your face and kills spot-causing bacteria and gets rid of excess oil.

  • Make sure you use these on a cotton wool pads to clean your face but the cheapest alternative Instead of using tap water, simply boil it in a kettle or pan and use it to wash your face as normal when it has cooled down😘
