  • Put the desired amount of hair that you would like to dye into a pony tail. Depending on what part of your hair you would like to dye, make sure the pony tail is in line with the roots of the hairs chosen. This will help to separate the hair you would like to dye from other hair.

  • Pour a cup of water into a pot. Pour all of your koolaid packages into the water and wait until the solution is boiled and the powder is dissolved. Once boiled and dissolved, pour into a coffee mug.

  • Put your pony tail into the mug, all the way up to the elastic. Leave your hair in the water for as long as you'd like. I usually leave my hair in the water for 20 minutes. This gives your hair a better visibility and long-lasting dye.

  • After your hair has been in the koolaid water for a self-chosen amount of time, take out and ring out with a towel. This will stain, so use an old towel. Take out the elastic and wash your hair until the dye doesn't show in the soap. Now blow dry, and enjoy!
