  • •don't wash your hair every single day.
I'm sure you always hear this and think "ew that's gross my hair will get oily" well that's where dry shampoo comes in. You should wash your hair every three days.

  • •avoid heat
Another one you probably hear often. If you want your hair healthy and long you need to cut back on heat. Even if you are using a heat protectant spray, your hair will not fully be protected.

  • •trimming your ends
When people say you need to trim or cut your hair every 6 weeks or 1-2 months they are lying. Your ends only need trimming when they are split. Going back to the last slide using less heat should help you stay away from split ends.

  • •your shampoo's

When you buy your shampoo's pay very close attention to the ingredients. Your shampoo should have no Sulfate in it. Sulfate strips the hair of the natural oil it produces called sebum. Even if it says "sulfate free" on the bottle read the ingredients.

  • •your pillow case

If you dont have a silk pillow case, i suggest you get one. Silk pillow cases prevent breakage in your hair.
