  • Your hair loves moisture. Treat it with good conditioners and oil ( coconut) regularly. Avoid exposing hair to direct sunlight and extensive dry heat.

  • No hot water. Hair is a form of protein. Heat breaks up protein. Wash your hair with cold water in summer and luke warm water in winter.

  • Apply hair treatment creams once every 2 weeks and wear a hair towel then go for steam. It makes the hair treatments penetrate the inner portion of the shaft. Doubles the effect.

  • Avoid coloring and curling and straightening. If you really must then first apply protectants and then go for extensive hair treatments after exposure.

  • Stop stressing about hair fall. 100 hair falls per day is normal. Have you ever considered counting how many hair you shed a day?? Seriously. The criteria for alopecia is more than 100 hair falls per day. And Stress increases hair fall.

  • Drink an extra glass of water just for your hair.
