Grow Heathy Hair!!

posted in Beauty > Hair
  • I made the smart ( note the sarcasm) idea to cut my lower back length hair( to a pixie cut), at the same time I stopped eating meat (lowering my protein intake). With the extreme length and protein intake change, it seemed like my hair would never grow. But with this experience, came a lesson, and I learned how to grow my hair much faster.

  • A super way to help your hair grow is green tea!! As crazy as it seems, it works!! Here's how to do it:
Brew a strong cup of green tea.
Pour the tea on your hair, the leave it on for anywhere between 5-30 minutes. (I always do 30)
    Just rinse out!
You can do this 2-3 times a week, EVERY week.

  • There is a little thing that I think helps my hair stay healthy.
Rinse your hair with cold water, at the end of a shower. This locks in the moister from your conditioner.

  • So a HUGE problem for me was keep moister in my hair. Dried out hair, not only looks bad, but it breaks off the length. I knew I had to change this... But how?? The biggest change I made was my shampoo and conditioner. I started using the super moisturizing Whole Blends coconut, and Shea conditioner ( the one in the picture). I knew that I had to find a super genital shampoo. But after all my searching I couldn't find one. So I made my own! ( recipe on the next page).

  • Castle and Argon oil shampoo:
    Half water
    Half Castle soap
Two dropper things full of Argon oil.
This deep cleans the hair, but doesn't dry it out at all!!

  • I take two biotin pill each day.

  • I also take two fish oil pills each day.

  • I eat an orange a day, and take a vitamin c pill. All of these vitamins help promote hair growth

  • The best hair mask for moisturizing your hair:
    Half olive oil
    Half organic Coconut oil
And four biotin pills ( I poke holes in them and then squeeze out the insides).

You can leave this in as long as you want, and it works beautifully.

  • Use an egg to add protein to you hair. Just:
    Crack the egg
Whisk it, until it's all mixes
    Run threw your dry hair
    Wash out after and hour.

  • Tips:
Don't wash your hair often. ( I wash my once a week)
Eggs can clean your hair, so there is no need to use shampoo after using a egg mask, just make sure to wash out with cold hair.
On shampoo days put In an oil mask, a couple hours before you shampoo. ( it's like double conditioning)
Don't use hot water on your hair.
A bristle brush will move around oils, so then you won't have to wash your hair that day.

  • A fermented rice water rinse will do wonders for your hair!!
    Here's how to make it:
Soak clean rice in the water for about at half hour.
    Strain the rice.
    Put in water a bottle.
Leave it out for a day.
    Then boil it.
Water down the rice water, until the water is only slightly cloudy.
    Then use it
Leave it on your hair for 4-5 minutes
Then rinse out with normal water.

You can do this 1-2 a week.

  • An Apple cider vinegar can make you hair soft, and help it grow.
    How to make it:
    1/3 apple cider vinegar
    2/3 water

Use it once a week ( or as much as your hair can handle. Different hair type will need it more or less.)

  • I have had dry scalp in the past. And as I am sure you know, that isn't heathy for your hair. It was so bad, nothing worked to relive it in the slightest. Until I found Super grow, as CVS. With just one use my dry scalp was almost completely gone.
