Grilled And Spicy Langoustine Recipe

  • This is something I totally just made up today and it tasted amazing.

    8 langoustine
    2 table spoons of butter
    2 crushed garlic
    2 chillies finely chopped
    Squirt of lemon
    1/2 tsp chilli powder
    1/2 tsp turmeric
    1/2 tsp ground coriander
    Salt and pepper

  • Prep the langoustine

I cook the head off and cleaned out the brain and green gunk

I then flipped it on it back, ran a knife though it and removed the vein.

    Wash and leave to drain

I used a paper towel to get the excess water out

  • I then melted the butter

    Added crushed garlic

Chillies (I like hot food so 2 is fine for me, but you can reduce or increase as you want) wear gloves when you chop. Or chop with scissors

Add the spices and salt and pepper

Do not let the butter boil. Constantly stir

  • After 1 min of the ingredients mixed with the melted butted, add the langoustine.

I added them individually and made sure the sauce was pushed into every part of the langoustine.

I let it marinate for an hour.

I then heated a grilled pan till it was souring hot

Added the langoustines 1 by 1 pushing the flesh into the pan. Grilled both sides for 2 mins👌

I added some broccoli, cauliflower and peppers to the sauce since I like those veggies. You can add whatever you want

    ENJOY
