Gingerbread Waffle Recipe

Gingerbread Waffle Recipe Ingredients needed:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups butter milk
3 tbsp canola oil
3 tbsp molasses
2 tsp finely grated peeled fresh ginger
2 large eggs
1 4-ounce container applesauce
3 tbsp minced crystallized ginger
Cooking sprayHow to:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, combine buttermilk and the next 5 ingredients (through apple sauce). Add milk mixture to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in crystallized ginger.
Beat egg whites with a mixer at high speed until soft peaks form. Gently fold egg whites into batter.
Spray your waffle iron with cooking spray, preheat and then spoon in your waffle batter. Enjoy!
