  • Whether its from an open wound or a visit from Aunt Flo, blood on clothes and personal garments sucks. The secret to getting blood out of any sort of cloth, immediately?

  • Hydrogen peroxide!
    Hydrogen peroxide!
  • If you apply a few capfuls of hydrogen peroxide on a blood stainrd piece of clothing after rinsing the item with cold water, it will get the blood out immediately! hydrogen peroxide is an cytotoxic, it kills cells. it literally will destroy the blood cells in the stain. after applying, wait for the fizzies to stop, rinse, and let dry. voila! no more blood!

  • if you have a blood stain on a mattress, spray stain first with cold water. Create a paste out of a 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide and 1 tbspn each of liquid dish soap and table salt. apply paste to stain and let dry. scrap off remaining residue. Dip a white rag in hyrdrogen peroxide and dab or blot any remains of stain. sprinkle some baking soda over the top and vacuum to really freshen things up.
