German Oven Pancakes

  • These are my favorite, fluffy and easy to dress up. What you'll need:
    3 eggs
    1/2 cup of flour
    1/2 cup milk
    1tbs sugar
    2tbs melted butter
    1/4tsp salt
    I like to add powdered sugar on top for a nice look, but anything you'd like to add works.

  • Take a pie pan of good size and melt butter in oven as it works up to 350 degrees. Get blender and put eggs, milk, and flour in at high speed. Next add in the sugar and salt. Be sure to get a rubber spatula to get the excess flour from sides and blend again. By now the butter should be melted, if not take out pan and swish the butter around until completely melted. Add in the batter that you blended, finally put the pan back in the oven and time for 10-15 minutes. Once it is a golden brown take it out and wait about five minutes so it can set, now add whatever topping you prefer.

  • Now I'm not too creative but I'm sure there are recipes where you add whatever you want into the batter, I'm thinking vanilla extract will be a sweet twist. I hope you enjoyed the tip.
