    Mason Jars
    Acrylic Paint
    Cotton Balls
    Silver Glitter
    Holo stars
    Plastic Containers (to mix paint)
    Wood stick

  • To start, add paint to your water (a different color in each cup of water) if you want to make a pastel galaxy, don't add too much paint.

  • Now mix the water and paint, adding more paint if you would like the color to be brighter.

  • Now, taking the cotton balls, stretch them and put them in the bottom part of the jar, this will depend on how many colors you want so mentally divide the jar in your mind.

  • After filling the bottom of the jar with cotton, add a thin layer of glitter and stars on top, move the jar around to evenly dispense the stars if you want to.

  • Now pour the colored water slowly over the cotton balls; if you ever think that you've poured too much just add more cotton balls. Pour until the cotton is all the color of the water.

  • Once you get to the top, use the wood stick to push the glitter around and mesh the cotton down, giving it a more realistic appearance.
