Fresh broccoli Salad

  • Ingredients for 4 servings:

    - 2 heads fresh broccoli
    - 1 cup mayonnaise
    - 1/4 cup raisin
    - 1/2 cup of your favorite nuts
    - 1/2 lb bacon
    - 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
    - 3/4 red onion
    - 1/2 cup white sugar

  • Directions:

    1. Cut broccoli to bite size pieces. If you don't like raw broccoli, place in boiling water until however cooked you like it to be.

    2. Place bacon in deep skillet and cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Place on paper towel. Crumble when cool.

    3. Cut red onion into thin pieces and combine with bacon, raisin, and your favorite nuts.

    4. To prepare the dressing, mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together. Stir into the salad, let chill and serve!
