Every Day/Night Shower Routine ❀️😘

posted in Skin & Body
  • When I first get in the shower, I make sure to rinse my entire body completely.
Then I'll begin washing my hair. I used Head and Shoulders because I tend to have a ton of dandruff if I don't use it.
After I shampoo, I don't condition my hair because my hair has never needed conditioner.
If you choose to condition, do it after you shampoo.

  • Once you're done with your hair, wash your body with body wash. I've struggled with bacne for a couple years, and I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it until I came across a tip to always wash your body after you wash your hair. It's definitely worked for me, so I'd give it a try! I put body wash on my arms, back and stomach. Then I take a loofa and scrub from my shoulders all the way down to my toes. Trust me, the body wash goes a long way.

  • When I'm done washing my body, I brush my teeth. It's a weird thing I began a couple years ago. I find that it saves time and I don't spend ages in the bathroom. I use a Colgate toothbrush and Optic White toothpaste. I tend to brush my teeth for a couple minutes and then I wash my face.
I use this white/tan Neutrogena face wash. It dries my skin out pretty badly, but I'm extremely oily so it works well for me. It's an exfoliating face wash, so after I rub it on my face, I put more body wash on and shave my body.

  • The reason I wait to shave, is because my pores are open and my hair has softened. Once I shave my body, I rinse my face.
This is probably the most important part of my shower, because it closes my pores.
I turn the hot water off and keep the cold water running. It took me a couple weeks of dedication to finally get used to it. I stand in the cold water for a minute or two and then voila! I go into my room to get dressed.

I really hope you enjoyed my first tip! Like, save and share please. 😘
