Head lice spreads so easy and is usually so hard to get rid of taking weeks. This is my tried and trusted head lice treatment taking only ONE day!
  • What You Will Need:

    • Apple Cider Vinegar
    • Coconut Oil
    • Spray Bottle
    • Shower Cap
    • Metal Nit Comb

  • Step One:

Fill the spray bottle with apple cider vinegar then cover your whole head making sure it's all covered. You want to make sure you get behind the ears and back of the neck as well.

After doing this place the shower cap over your hair, I also like to wrap a old towel just so nothing drips and it's all secure.

  • Step Two:

Once the vinegar has dried (roughly half a hour to a hour) rub the coconut oil in to all your hair. Then place the shower cap back over and let it sit.

*you need to let the coconut oil sit in your hair for a minimum of 4 hours, when doing this treatment I like doing it early in the morning an letting the coconut oil sit in the hair all day until just before my evening shower.

  • Step Three:

After letting the coconut oil sit in your hair, take the head lice comb, part sections in to your hair and comb out all the lice and eggs left.

(The vinegar you put in earlier has a acid which breaks the egg glue making it so much easier to comb out.)

  • Step Four:

Wash out the vinegar and coconut oil.

You don't need to use a lot of shampoo and conditioner because the vinegar cleans the hair and also gets rid of any dandruff!

The coconut oil also leaves your hair silky, soft, and smelling beautiful unlike those dangerous chemical treatments

  • Extra Tips:

    • While having to wait hours for the coconut oil to sit in your hair, it's a good idea to use that time to wash your linen and any toys, clothes etc that might have traces of head lice still on them.

    • When combing out the hair, comb a section ten times, by the end of the tenth time if the comb comes up clean you can guarantee there's nothing left behind.

    • Although you only need to do this once, I recommend you doing it once more the following week just incase you missed the odd one or two nits.

  • After finding this head lice treatment it has been my number one treatment every time. You just need to do this once to eliminate any headlice, it's easy, and always leaves the hair looking silky and smooth.
