Easy, Yummy, Tacos!

  • These have always been a favorite at my house! They're great with some rice on the side. πŸ˜‹ to make for 3 you'll need:

    1lb Hamburger Meat

    1 Pack Yellow Corn Tortillas

1 Can Refried Beans (I like the Rosarita brand)

    1 Cup Canola Oil

    1 Cup Chopped Green Onion

    1 Tomato Diced

    Mexican Style Shredded Cheese

    1 Packet Taco Seasoning

    1 1/2 Cup Shredded Lettuce

    Ranch Dressing (for topping/optional)

La Victoria Red Taco Sauce (for topping/optional)

  • To start, you'll need to drop your hamburger meat into a large frying pan and let cook until brown. Should take about 10 minutes.

While you're waiting for the hamburger meat to cook, you can start cutting up the tomatoes, lettuce, and onions.

After your meat is fully cooked, put in taco seasoning and stir well. Your hamburger meat should be completely covered in the seasoning. Leave on low heat to keep warm.

Now that the meat is seasoned, put your refried beans in a bowl and warm for 5 minutes in the microwave. Stir at 2:50 and put back in for remaining time.

  • After everything is close to done, you can start with the tortillas. Put your oil in a large frying pan, might need a little more but just enough to cover the tortilla and let it float. Once the oil is warm enough put your tortillas in the pan and cook for about 10 seconds on each side and dry on paper towels.

(For more crunchy shells cook longer.)

Spread a teaspoon full of refried beans on the shell

Cover beans with some hamburger meat

Grab some tomatoes, lettuce, and onions and put however much you'd like on your taco!

Top with ranch dressing, hot sauce, and cheese.

  • I hope you enjoy these as much as my family does! I'm new to this site, so I apologize for any mistakes. Thanks guys! 😊
