Food & Drink
125grams of self raising flour
125grams of very soft unsalted butter-
(I recommend stalk)
125grams of caster sugar
A few teaspoons of full fat milk
1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (optional but advised)
Food colouring(optional of your choice)
Pre-heat the oven to 200*c/ gas mark 6
Put all your Ingredients into a bowl (EXCEPT THE MILK) and whisk, an electric whisk ensures the best buns!
Add the milk and whisk until you get a batter- like mixture with no lumps or air bubbles!
Put your mixture into your bun cases and put in the oven! Leave for 15-30 minutes but check every five minutes!
Don't forget- you can add things to your mixture like chocolate chips, fudge pieces, smarties or anything!
Make your buttercream!
Add your buttercream...depending on how much u need put softened butter in a bowl and continue adding and mixing icing sugar in along with your colouring!
