  • Cranberry Red Wine Spritzers, makes 3-4 servings
Needed: 1 bottle of red wine, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (or a few cinnamon sticks—I was out) 1 cup chopped cranberries and club soda to serve.

    Needed: 1 bottle of red wine, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (or a few cinnamon sticks—I was out) 1 cup chopped cranberries and club soda to serve.
  • Chop cranberries in half. Then fill to a cup. You don't need them to be finely chopped. In a small pot, combine the wine, sugar, cinnamon (sticks) and cranberries. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar.  Reduce heat to a simmer and allow to cook for 12-15 minutes until wine has reduced

  • For the cranberry garnish simply skewer cranberries onto a small wooden stick (mine are kabob sticks). Rinse with water and generously sprinkle with sugar. Then freeze for an hour or overnight so the sugar adheres to the cranberries.
