  • Happy Friday everyone and if you live in the UK happy red nose day! On Bead Bash today is DIY day. I made this loom a few weeks ago. It's really easy to make with materials that you should have around the house. Here's what you do:

  • Gather together your materials, you will need:

A piece of scrap cardboard that is at least dinner plate size
A piece of paper the same size (or two bits of A4 paper taped together)
    A dinner plate
    Scissors
    Pen

  • Place the plate on the piece of card and draw around it. Do the same with the piece of paper.

  • Cut out both circles.

  • Unfold your last fold and fold both edges into the middle.

  • Do the same again, folding both edges into the middle.

  • Undo all of your folds so you can see your circle again. Your circle should now be split into 32 sections.

  • Draw slits on each fold line.

  • Place the paper circle over your card circle and gradually trace through all of the slit marks on to the card using your pen. I did this by folding the paper sections back.

  • You can now wrap the yarn around the loom and then start weaving.
