Easy And Healthy Green Beans!

  • Ingredients

    1. Green beans
    2. Tomato's
    5. Salt and pepper to taste

  • Directions

    1. In a saucepan boil tomatoes whole.
    2.when they become soft place them in cold water to cool off
    3.blanch green beans in boiling water for about 5 minutes.
    4.in the time they blanch, peel the skin off the tomatoes.
    5. In a sauce pan heat oil and 2 cloves of garlic.

  • 6. When the garlic has softened, add tomatoes & gently break apart with a spoon.
    7. Let cook down for 5 minutes & add green beans.
    8. Cook for another 10 minutes on medium heat.
    9. Remove from heat & set in a dish.

    This dish works very well with a meat or fish & works as a healthy alternative:)
