Dye Your Hair Naturally...With Tea
My hair has been looking really dull, but I have no time (or extra cash) to get to the salon. So I'm going to have a cup of tea.
This is great for expecting moms, too! No worry about chemicals.
You just need to know what tea is right for your shade. Here are tips;
•For black hair, use Golden Monkey, Fujian Province, Wild Ginger, Ceylon, or Chinese Black Tea with Ginger.
•For dark brown hair, use Earl Grey, Ceylon Black Tea, or Bergamot.
•For light brown hair, use Summer Berries, Black Tea with Elderberries, Blackberries, or Raspberries.
•For red hair, use Rooibos Royal Velvet or Rooibos and Washington State Lavender.
•For strawberry blonde hair, use Buccaneer.
•For blonde hair, use Classic Chamomile.
How to Apply: Boil water and steep tea. Depending on your length of hair, make sure you have enough to saturate all your strands. Wait for tea to be room temperature, then use it as a rinse. Leave on for 3-10 minutes. For a deeper effect, leave tea on for 20-30 minutes.
