  • I love blonde but I hate how when I am very light my roots seem so much darker than my dirty blonde hair! You will need to buy a few things to get going but it will pay off if you are like me and need a touch up every 5 weeks! It can get expensive quickly!

  • You will need a color bowl or a small plastic bowl you do not use for food (only because the chemicals are not good to eat ๐Ÿ˜œ)

  • You can get something cheap, just an angled or flat is fine, depending on how OCD you are about your hair

  • The developer is important, it's what is used to lift the color to a lighter one, so if you have dark roots you need something higher to lift such as 20vol, and the lighter the less you need. This is why box color is tricky because they just put any developer in the box, it's a "one fits all" deal

  • Match your color, it's good to bring a friend and have them look for you, make sure to look in good lighting, you can ask the store to get by the window or outside for the right light. Once you find your color or colors buy the tube, depending on what kind you may need a measuring device for it

  • Mix your color & developer to apply to your roots, you can watch it lift but generally it's 25-35 minutes before you will wash it out. I tone mine with an Ash/Platinum toner for 2 minutes after just to brake it up since I didn't apply any highlights. Let me know what questions you guys have!!
