Delicious Homemade Baked Beans

Baked beans are probably my favorite food. Paired with a grilled burger on a warm summer day...DELISH!
You're going to need:
2 cups navy beans (I use canned)
1/2 lb. bacon (I usually end up only using a 1/4 lb.)
1 onion, finely diced (optional)
3 tbsp. molasses
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Put the beans, onion, and bacon in a 2 quart casserole dish.
In a saucepan, combine molasses, salt, pepper, dry mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar.
Bring mixture to a boil then pour over beans.
Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil and place in oven.
Check dish every 30 minutes.
I usually cook it until I feel like the beans have soaked up enough sauce. Takes about 2 hours.
